The renovation of an existing drive-thru banking facility transformed a non-descript, single story suburban building into a character rich structure, more in keeping with this regional banking institution's identity. The makeover posed a series of challenges related to the building, as well as the need to maintain operations during the course of construction.

Our concept unified various existing structural systems, while achieving the client's interest in an enclosure with a series of traditional elements found in their other facilities. A large-span trussed roof is seated on the existing structure, covered with colonial columns. Dormers add a needed element of scale to the large roof expanse while the custom cupola provides a beacon with which customers can identify the institution's icon.
